Local Chocolatier Wins International Award

Local chocolate maker Phillip Ashley won the 2015 Top Luxury Caramel Gold Award for Best Taste at the International Chocolate Salon by TasteTV Awards for his salted caramel toasted pecan praline “Chelonii.”
This is his second time at the top this year; he won the Gold Award for Most Unique in June for his Savoy St. Agur French Bleu Cheese white chocolate.”
Chef Phillip Ashely commented, saying, "We work hard to design delicious, memorable and artistic chocolate flavor combinations, so the recognition of a Gold Award from the International Chocolate Salon is a wonderful sense of accomplishment."
